DIVINE Error - Guild Wars Forums

2 days ago an friend asked me to check my monk and see if I had the Divine skill area listed in my skills, which I did. He also asked me to check my distribution of attrib points and asked if my divine slots were listed there, which they were. He proceeded to say he was screwed. He made a new monk/Mes (tyria) and when he got to post ascolon, he noticed he didnt have any divine skills slots nor could he buy any divine skills. He was level 4 when he left pre ascolon so he didnt notice it until he tried to buy new skills is post ascolon. The point is, his DIVINE skills slot area where you distribute your attrib points wasnt there. He proceeded to delete the char and try again.

Since I had 2 open char slots, I also did the same, made a Monk/mes. To my surprise, after I had the monk class, I didnt have the Divine skills slot area. I deleted the character, remade. and again wasnt there. I did this 2 more times and on the 5th try, the DIVINE slots appeared. Possible issue?

Somtimes when I press "K" to display my skills it only shows the skills from one or two attribute lines, simply closing and re-opening the window fixes it...

I don't think it shows the attrib at all in the menu unless you have skills from that attrib already. Do you get any skills from divine when you start a monk? If you don't it could have something to do with that.
Though the can't buy divine skills from trader makes me think this probably isn't the problem...

Just restart the character if it's glitched.

LOL, it's not a bug - there simply aren't any Divine Favor skills until later in the game.

The first divine favor skills aren't available until northern shiverpeaks (Yaks Bend I think).

yea if theres no option for divine favor attribute points when you hit H, press Print Screen SysRq, it takes a screen shot then you can post here or report it to Anet

You need to put points in that attribute though and like most said there are really no skills untill you get to Yaks Bend and get Boon there.
